Dia duit gach duine! [Hello Everyone!]
No, I do not know how to speak Irish. Just 'googled' it. :P
Well fellow foodies! I am here with yet another Droolsome News! Irish House has introduced it's New Menu and all the dishes are really tempting! Chef Rahul has named each one of his dishes in such unique manner! You will find out soon.
Let's get started with all the drunken dishes, D-I-Y Pastas et al.
Appetizers:
Now this dish is named the Drunken Mushrooms. Funny right? Although it does reflect the essence of The Irish House. :D
Chef Rahul explained that these mushrooms had been soaked in Tequila overnight and then roasted to give it an distinct mild flavour. The Mushrooms were topped with Stewed Spinach, Goat Cheese and Parmesan. They were not too spicy either. A good dish to start your evening with.
Irish Main:
Next we tried the Irish Lamb Pie cooked in Red Wine. It was a bit too salty for my taste because I prefer less salty food. Nevertheless, it was a great filling dish. :)

Next comes the Prawns on A High. [Again, I liked the name.. ;-)]
These prawns had been soaked in Smoky Vodka and glazed with spicy Harissa on Toasties! No wonder these Prawns are on a high! :P The prawns were cooked to perfection.

My 2nd favourite dish of all was the Beer Can Chicken - Roasted Chicken (soaked in Beer) served with Roasted Potatoes. It was truly heavenly!

We also tried the Mini Chicken Burgers. It would be a great dish to order among friends as something yummy to munch on before diving into your Mains.

Desserts:
The Belgium Style Waffles are a must have! I love waffles and these were just the way I like. Try out the Cinnamon Cream as the topping. It was whipped perfectly!

The Bar:
Along with the delicious new additions to the Menu, 7 new Irish whiskies and single malts have been added recently like The Wild Geese, Tullamore, Bushmills, Red Breast to name a few. I tried the Chinese Beer, the Belgium Beer and the Portuguese Beer.
Next time I go, I will definitely try out the Irish Car Bomb – a shot made with Murphys Stout, Jameson and Baileys.
With such an innovative Menu, I am sure that The Irish House has been successful in garnering more loyal patrons.
Foodies! Go ahead and enjoy a lovely evening with some splendid food and amazing ambiance!
