Table Manners - Chapter One

As a kid, I would always be clueless when taken to a fancy restaurant. My brother taught me a few Table Manners which I tried to remember as my thumb-rules.

I would always wonder how and where to keep the knives and forks after the meal was over. I didn't realise that this particular act had several meaning for the Staff at the Restaurant. It is a way of communicating to them even without words!

Here is a simple guide for you to remember as well.


Well I don't know how many Restaurant staffs are trained for this, but I would really like to believe that when I place my knife and fork in this manner, they can read my signs instead of thinking I am a weirdo! :P
